At ENS Paris-Saclay, research plays a central role. What sets it apart is that it links basic research to applications with a strong experimental approach.

By working with its partners to create the graduate school des métiers de la recherche et de l’enseignement supérieur (MRES) within Université Paris-Saclay, the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay has provided, as part of its remit as an ENS, a remarkable setting to match contemporary issues.

International collaboration is a major focus for ENS Paris-Saclay. Almost 300 international and doctoral students are admitted in our departments and research laboratories each year. Different admissions procedures are used, depending on a student’s level of studies.

The ENS Paris-Saclay International Relations Office (SRI) coordinates a number of financing programmes so that the best international students can be admitted to our School.
