Program
Discover the booths offering a wide variety of fun and educational activities in various scientific disciplines presented by the laboratories at the Paris-Saclay campus: biology, chemistry, energy, the environment, genetics, artificial intelligence, physics, engineering sciences, and more.
About thirty themed mini-lectures for the general public are also offered throughout the program.
- Find out how astronauts eat aboard the ISS.
- Understand the journey of food through a cow’s digestive system.
- Realize just how much bacteria are true master chefs!
- Discover the properties of certain gases, such as liquid nitrogen or CO2.
- Observe fungi in all their forms: when the good, the bad, and the ugly all mix together!
- Make your own “greenhouse gas-emitting burger” and reflect on how our food choices impact greenhouse gas emissions.
- Discover the diversity of fermented foods and their rich flavors.
- Understand how to reduce salt without sacrificing the taste of our dishes.
- Have fun in the play area run by the S[cube] association.
- Other fun and enriching activities are offered by scientists from Paris-Saclay University, AgroParisTech, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Sports Sciences, CEA Paris-Saclay, CentraleSupélec, ENS Paris-Saclay, Inria Île-de-France, INRAE, IDEEV (Institute for Diversity, Ecology, and Evolution of Living Organisms—the Aimé Cotton Laboratory, the DataIA Institute, the LISN (Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Digital Sciences), and the I2BC (Institute for Integrative Cell Biology), as well as the Soleil Synchrotron, CNES, Air Liquide, and Danone.

At the Scène de recherche
In 2026, the Laboratory of Supramolecular and Macromolecular Photophysics and Photochemistry (PPSM) hosted artist Amélie Vignals to explore the phenomena of photoluminescence, fluorescence, and phosphorescence.
From this collaboration between researchers and the artist emerged “Tout s’éclaire,” an immersive experience in which light and matter engage in a dialogue. At the intersection of live performance, the arts, and science outreach, this journey unfolds through striking visual phenomena and invites visitors to question their perception of color, the origin of light emissions, and the presence of invisible light.
