Drupal is a free and open source content management system. The site provides access to sites from teaching departments and research laboratories that may be covered by other technologies.
The domain name is the exclusive property of ENS Paris-Saclay.
The domain name “ens-paris-saclay.fr” has been reserved with AFNIC in accordance with the provisions in force. The allocation and withdrawal of sub-domain names are the exclusive responsibility of ENS Paris-Saclay.
Intellectual property
The site is the exclusive property of ENS Paris-Saclay, and is governed by French and international legislation on copyright and intellectual property. The texts, photographs, drawings, sounds, videos, etc. making up the site are the property of ENS Paris-Saclay or of third parties who have allowed ENS Paris-Saclay to use them.
The layout, resulting code and databases are also protected by the French Intellectual Property Code.
In accordance with the provisions of article L 122-5 paragraph 2 of the Intellectual Property Code, copies or reproductions strictly reserved for the private use of the copier and not intended for collective use are authorized.
Short quotations are authorized within the framework of communication, publishing or other actions for professional use, subject to mentioning the author and the URL address of the page quoted.
In the case of digital publication, the URL address must allow direct access to the cited page or, failing that, to the home page. The reproduction of texts from this site on paper may also be authorized for educational purposes, subject to compliance with the following conditions:
- ree distribution;
- respect for the integrity of the documents reproduced;
- clear and legible citation of the source.
A request for authorization must first be sent to the communications department, which will forward it to the publication director and, where applicable, to the author.
The rights to “La Spirale”, a sculpture by Germaine Richier (1954), whose photographic representation is used on the site, are managed by ADAGP (Société française de gestion collective des droits d'auteur dans les arts visuels).
Responsibility
ENS Paris-Saclay checks the accuracy of the information published and regularly updates the site.
However, ENS Paris-Saclay cannot guarantee that all published information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. Information provided by departments, teaching units and research laboratories is not contractually binding and is subject to change without notice. Information provided by users and contributors is generally updated as soon as possible, but may be delayed for various reasons or constraints. Errors, omissions, out-of-date information and broken links may be reported to the webmaster.
When consulting the site, users should also ensure that their browser does not contain any out-of-date pages - and should, if necessary, empty or deactivate the “cache”.
The ENS Paris-Saclay website provides links to other websites in relation to their content. The presence of hypertext links to other websites does not imply approval of the information by ENS Paris-Saclay. The risks associated with the use of these sites are the responsibility of the user.
ENS Paris-Saclay authorizes the creation of a hypertext link to the content of its corporate website, provided that :
- no deep linking is used, i.e. the pages of the “ens-paris-saclay.fr” site must not be embedded within the pages of another site, but accessible by opening a window.
- mention the source, which will point directly to the content in question via a hypertext link.
Use for commercial or advertising purposes is excluded. This authorization does not apply to websites broadcasting information of a controversial, pornographic or xenophobic nature, or likely to offend the sensibilities of a large number of people.

Using passwords
Certain content and interactive services on the ENS Paris-Saclay website (intranet) require an access code and password, which are provided by the manager of these services (Information Systems Department).
Access codes and passwords are confidential, personal, non-transferable and non-transferable. Users are responsible for managing and storing their access codes and passwords. Consequently, it is the user's responsibility to take all necessary precautions to protect and safeguard them. The user is responsible for the consequences of their use.
Technical constraints
The user declares that he/she accepts the characteristics and limits of the Internet and acknowledges :
- that they are aware of the nature of the Internet network and, in particular, its technical performance and response times for consulting, querying or transferring information data;
- that data circulating on the Internet is not necessarily protected, in particular against possible misappropriation;
- that it is the user's responsibility to take all appropriate measures to protect his/her own data and/or software from contamination by any viruses on the Internet network.
ENS Paris-Saclay cannot guarantee that its institutional site will function correctly with all existing browsers and operating systems.
