Résumé

With the ensemble Le Balcon, composer Pedro Garcia Velasquez and director Jacques Osinski turn Samuel Beckett's radio play into a total musical, mental, visual and sound experience. Pedro Garcia Velasquez exalts the misunderstanding between words and music. He invents a mixed orchestra of humans and robots: blown glass, stone, metal, mechanical arms, robotics and signal processing are all part of it, after the radio. The stage is a music box, a fairy tale castle over which old Croak reigns. Bob (Music) and Joe (Lyrics) do as they please. On the stage, there is no set, but the body of the musicians to embody the music, the carnal and magnetic presence of two actors and the ghostly and heady presence of musical robots.
