Our researchers' and laboratories' participation in international research groups, the reputed academic symposiums we host and our many European and international collaborations attest to the School's dynamic engagement with the global scientific community.
Organization
Research is very strong in all three of the School’s fields: science, engineering, and the humanities and social sciences.
It is based on three pillars informed by the School’s mission and identity:
- Academic research of the highest quality, recognized in France and internationally,
- Research combined with teaching through intensive student supervision and tutoring,
- Research focused on societal and technological issues.
Scientific research at ENS Paris-Saclay is structured into 14 laboratories and 3 institutes.
Together, their approach favours dialogue between basic and applied research, which feed into one another to enrich knowledge and provide functional solutions to problems facing the business world and society more broadly.
Much of the PhD research conducted at ENS Paris-Saclay is financed by private companies
