Testimony of Claire MORRIER
What is your career path?
I did an ES baccalauréat, then in 2018 I entered a BL preparatory class at the lycée Janson de Sailly (75). In 2020 I entered the social sciences department at ENS Paris Saclay.
I'm studying economics. I started with a double bachelor's degree in economics and history, then opted for the master's degree in economics at ENS Paris-Saclay.
Why did you choose to do a FESup Masters?
Ever since I was very young, I've dreamed of becoming a teacher. Doing the FESup Masters gave me the best chance of achieving this goal. It was a rich and exciting year, with some excellent teachers at our side whom I would like to thank warmly.
To make the year seem less hard, there were about ten of us playing games at lunchtime: 'times-up', 'loup-garou', etc.
What are your career plans?
I'd like to do a PhD in economics and then become an SES or ESH teacher in preparatory classes.
What would you say to students who are hesitating about coming to ENS Paris-Saclay or taking the agrégation?
ENS Paris-Saclay is a school that offers a wide range of different courses, so it's not hard to find what you're looking for. As for the agrégation, it's a difficult year, but a great one in many ways. The support you get is also very good.
