Since 2020, the 1/10th autonomous car race has been welcoming student teams (IUTs, engineering schools, universities) in a friendly, collaborative spirit. The project enables students to develop skills in electronics, on-board computing, vision and artificial intelligence, in close connection with automotive research and development issues.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Date: Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 2pm to 6pm
Location: Atrium Germaine Tillion - ENS Paris-Saclay, 4 avenue des Sciences, Gif-sur-Yvette (91190)

Since 2020, the event has welcomed teams of students (IUT, grandes écoles and universities) to race 1/10th autonomous cars, in a spirit of conviviality and collaboration.

Teams prepare their autonomous cars and help each other throughout the year, and take part in a grand final once a year.

Who will succeed the ENS Paris-Saclay 2 team, the big winners in 2023?

Programm

  • 9am-1pm: free practice and homologation
  • 2pm: qualifying to determine grid positions for races
  • The first 6 cars to qualify compete over three laps in two rounds.
  • 5pm: race - Round 1
  • 5:30 p.m.: Round 2 race
  • 6pm: prize-giving ceremony

For each race

  • Two timed laps, one car alone on the track
  • Two timed laps, single car on track with obstacles
