INFOS PRATIQUES

Friday 18 February 2022 from 12.15 to 13.45
The pedagogical lunches are open to all teachers at ENS Paris-Saclay as well as to interested students.
They are organised in a co-modal format, i.e. simultaneously in room 1N82 and on Collaborate.

Abstract

Diagnostic, formative, summative, certifying, normative, sustainable... The objectives of assessment are numerous. Add to this the various possible formats, and teachers are faced with a host of possibilities when they seek to assess the acquisition of skills and knowledge related to their teaching.

Two questionnaires - for the teaching community and for the student community - are being circulated to identify practices, needs and questions in terms of assessment at ENS Paris-Saclay.

GIPENS also wishes to use the analysis of the results of these questionnaires to identify relevant practices to be shared.

  •     At the beginning of the pedagogical lunch, a synthesis of these questionnaires will be presented and discussed.
  •     In a second step, we will turn to the literature and give a brief overview of pedagogical practices that can be used to improve student engagement and progress.
