Abstract

The conference-performance MOVING EARTHS returns to the Galilean revolution of 1610 and the shock of the discovery that the Earth is not only not the centre of the universe, but that it moves, to put this upheaval in our perception of the world in relation to the other shock, just as surprising, that the Earth is sensitive.

The Earth moves, said Galileo, it is moved, say contemporary scientists. It trembles and reacts to human actions. This hypothesis is all the more revolutionary because it concerns us closely, confirming that our destiny is closely linked to that of the planet.
