USA/Canada: study with the MICEFA programme

ENS Paris-Saclay has joined the "Mission Interuniversitaire de Coordination des Echanges Franco-Américains (MICEFA)" and its consortium of Ile-de-France establishments, thus offering the possibility for students to study or read in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
In 2021/2022, more than fifty students have chosen these mobility destinations.

MICEFA programme: where to go?

United States and Canada (English-speaking)
MICEFA aims to promote bilateral cultural and scientific cooperation between France and English-speaking North America and has nearly 65 North American partner institutions, mainly in the United States and also in Canada (English-speaking).
It allows ENS Paris-Saclay students at the M1 and M2 levels to study or read for one or two semesters without paying tuition fees in the partner university.
Other universities
ENS Paris-Saclay also has a quota of places:
- The University of Puerto Rico (Spanish-speaking opportunity, no TOEFL required, B2 language certificate in Spanish, courses available at the Master's level, residence on campus reserved for the student) ;
- University of Waterloo (English-speaking opportunity in Canada, TOEFL requirement of 90/120 with a minimum of 20 in each skill).
The conditions
- Be in M1 or M2, registered at ENS Paris-Saclay;
- Have very good academic results;
- Have a sufficient level of English (minimum level required: TOEFL score of 80 or IELTS score of 6.5);
- Prove financial resources required for the delivery of the visa (see MICEFA brochure).
