This day is part of a series of initiatives designed to support lecturers and future lecturers in their careers, by providing essential keys to understanding the professional environment in which they are working or aspire to work.
This event is co-sponsored by the Graduate School for Research and Higher Education at the University of Paris-Saclay, the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay and the Maison du Doctorat at the University of Paris-Saclay.
Participation
Participation is free and open to all, subject to registration*:
- Teachers and teacher-researchers recently recruited to the University of Paris-Saclay, ENS Paris-Saclay, UVSQ, UEVE, CentraleSupélec, AgroParisTech and IOGS;
- Doctoral students from the University of Paris-Saclay who are considering a career as a teacher-researcher and/or who are following the University of Paris-Saclay's "Careers for Doctors" pathway dedicated to academic careers (the day is attached to the "Teaching in Higher Education" label, "Careers for Doctors" pathway, and will be worth 1 point);
- Students and pupils from the whole of the University of Paris-Saclay who aspire to an academic career;
*Subject to availability of places in person, and unlimited places in videoconference, to all teachers-researchers, researchers, higher education teachers, doctoral students and students interested in the topic at the University of Paris-Saclay, but more widely in France or abroad (the language will be French).

Everyone has to sign up.
Doctoral students enrolled in the "Teaching in higher education" section of the "Careers as a doctor" programme who wish to validate the C1 competency must ALSO register on Adum.

Getting to ENS Paris-Saclay and parking
- All the information you need (by public transport, by bike, by car...).
- The list of all parking facilities (public car parks).
For lunch
Coffee breaks are provided for participants.
For lunch: there is a wide range of options nearby:
- CROUS restaurant in the ENS South-West building on the ground floor;
- KFÉ (organic and healthy coffee shop) in the south-west building of the ENS on the ground floor;
- Shops and restaurants in rue Pierre Potier (bakery, brasserie, Japanese restaurant, pizzeria, grocery shop, supermarket, etc.);
- Food-trucks also set up daily in the Carré des Sciences, at the exit of the Bouygues building of CentraleSupélec from 12pm to 2pm.
