Information Systems
The Information Systems Division contributes to the development of information technology policy at ENS Paris-Saclay.
Missions
To accomplish its missions, the IS Division:
- proposes the institution’s strategic directions for IT;
- records and examines the needs expressed by the institution's professional services divisions and academic departments;
- evaluates and recommends IT investments corresponding to these needs, taking into account their effectiveness and risk control;
- monitors technology and regulatory developments concerning information systems;
- provides technical expertise to all users;
- anticipates changes and guides the Office of the President's choices concerning information technology (IT master plan);
- aligns IT solutions to user needs and to the institution's strategy;
- recommends new practices and applications to users.
The IS Division implements IT policy and governance of information systems.
Organization
Information Systems is a division of Professional Services. It serves to support the missions of ENS Paris-Saclay.
Information Systems is led by a head of division and comprises a service desk, three units and a copy service.
