ENS Paris-Saclay Degree
The degree programme formalizes the normalien education.
The ENS Paris-Saclay Degree is awarded after four years and is equivalent to a master's degree.
Enrolment in this degree is compulsory for all students who come to the School in first year (bachelor's level) or in second year (M1 level – intensive catch-up year).
In 2016, a new degree was launched under the School’s new name: ENS Paris-Saclay. It connects the School's development with that of Université Paris-Saclay. The degree programme formalizes the normalien education
Normalien students each receive individual supervision. Through a continuous dialogue with academic staff, they are actively involved in setting their learning agenda and defining the means to achieve it.
A common core of scientific skills
Over the course of their studies, normalien students acquire the expertise they need to excel in their discipline: conducting and presenting a piece of research, fluency in scientific English, teaching their discipline, passing on knowledge, taking part in multidisciplinary group projects, etc.
