Le Village

Installed in the Atrium at ENS Paris-Saclay and in the BiS of ENSCi Les Ateliers at Bastille, the Village will host from Tuesday 7 to Thursday 30 June 2022 the work of the students of the research master's degree in design and the doctoral students of the Centre de recherche en design (ENS Paris-Saclay / ENSCI Les Ateliers).

A place of production and exchange

Beyond the exhibition space, the Village is also a place of production and contributory exchanges set up for a month and deployed on two sites in 3 thematic areas:

  • Design of Devices,
  • Design and Ecology,
  • Design and Politics.

On Fridays 10, 17 and 24 June at BiS, meeting days will accompany the presentation of the work. Three thematic days during which speakers will be invited to discuss their current research.
Several systems have been devised to facilitate interaction, allowing participants to give feedback on the projects on display, and a central office has been created to provide the necessary documentation for navigating the different spaces and activities of the Village.
