ENS Paris-Saclay Literary Award
Recognizing that our students are curious and attentive readers, in 2000 ENS Cachan created a literary award that honours and encourages the author of a first novel, written in French and published over the past year.
The panel of judges is made up of 15 student volunteers representing each of the disciplines taught at ENS Cachan.
The award is conferred for an author's first novel published in French during the previous year.
The panel of judges have five months to read, analyze and discuss fifteen first novels selected by a reading committee made up of members of the school and former judges.
The prize is a work by a local artist generously donated by the Cachan City Council, which has been associated with the event since its creation and has a strong artistic tradition.
