Evidence-based education
On the right way to educate and teach, everyone has an opinion, and everyone gives it. The books and conferences of the education gurus keep asserting everything and its opposite. What can we believe? On what can we base a rational educational policy? What works in education? And above all, how can we know? This is the purpose of the scientific approach in education, also called "evidence-based education".
Franck RAMUS
A researcher in cognitive sciences, his research focuses on the cognitive development of children, their disorders (developmental dyslexia, specific language disorders, autism), their school learning, their cognitive and cerebral bases, and their genetic and environmental determinants. He is also a member of the French National Education Scientific Council.
