sENS de l'art festival

The sENS de l'art is a week-long performing arts festival with an eclectic programme, organized by our students.

Every year, this arts and culture festival on the ENS Paris-Saclay campus offers concerts, theatre, exhibitions, short films and shows, all in the friendly atmosphere of a student festival.

The festival aims to promote art in all its forms and to allcomers, welcoming everyone from committed art buffs to the just plain curious.

sENS de l’Art 2017

The twelfth annual sENS de l’Art festival will take place over one week, from Monday, 23 January to Sunday, 29 January 2017.

Each evening will bring its share of surprises and talent, from the club night on Monday and short-film screening on Wednesday to the Saturday night concert and children's day on Sunday, with an orchestra and an art exhibition thrown in here and there.

Festival production

The ENS Cachan Arts Office and the Cachan Improvisation and Théâtre Association first launched the project in 2004 during the interENS culturels festival.

The festival initially featured works by our students and regional artists and performers. The programme was expanded in 2008 when organizers began to invite professionals and semi-professionals.

To begin with, the event was held on six different sites but was later concentrated on ENS Paris-Saclay premises for logistical reasons.
