The Centre for Strategic Aerospace Studies (CESA)

Responsible for ensuring the internal and external influence of the Air and Space Force (AAE), the Centre for Strategic Aerospace Studies promotes the AAE's openness to civil society through studies and publications, youth initiatives, partnerships and, lastly, aeronautical heritage and traditions. Its levers for action to strengthen the link
link between the armed forces and the nation are its publications on aerospace power strategy and history (https://www.calameo.com/cesa) and the conferences it organises. It contributes to the air youth policy, with the setting up of Escadrilles Air Jeunesse (young people aged
15 to 25 years old) and Defence Classes.
It develops and leads partnerships and networks of influence in the academic, research and reserve communities. It works closely with the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace and the Aéro-Club de France to promote aviation heritage. It leads two units that are ambassadors for the Air Force and Space: the Air Force painters and the musical groups (the Air Force Band and the Air Force Band).
