2024 graduation ceremony

The winners are expected to attend the ENS Paris-Saclay graduation ceremony on Friday 31 May 2024. The families of the graduates will be welcomed from 3.30pm in the main amphitheatre of the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay.
This year, Élisabeth Claverie de Saint-Martin, alumni, teacher-researcher, senior civil servant, diplomat and now CEO of the Centre de coopération internationale en recherche agronomique pour le développement (CIRAD), is doing us the honour of being the patron of the 2024 ceremony.

Venue: grand amphithéâtre Alain Aspect then hall Emmy Noether

Programme

3.30 pm to 4.15 pm: visit to the school for those who have registered.

Students welcome from 3.30pm

From 3:30 p.m.: DSVEC welcomes graduates. You will be able to collect your diploma(s) in the reception hall (South building). You will be asked to show proof of identity when you collect your diploma(s) (no power of attorney).

Reception in the Alain Aspect amphitheatre from 4.30 p.m.

    4.30 pm: families and staff are welcomed in the Alain Aspect amphitheatre after their invitation has been scanned
    5pm: opening of the ceremony by Nathalie CARRASCO, President of ENS Paris-Saclay
    5.20pm: Speech by Jérôme LAURRE, President of ENS alumi

Ceremony from 5.40 pm to 8 pm

All the graduates will be called by Olivier Hubert, Vice-President of Education, to congratulate them on their graduation and take a group photo.

6.45pm: Speech by the ceremony's patron Élisabeth Claverie de Saint-Martin, alumni (class of 1995) and President of the Centre de coopération internationale en recherche agronomique pour le développement (CIRAD).

Several prizes will be awarded to the lucky winners in recognition of their research work or their involvement in emerging issues.

  • Research prize for Louis Védrine - Agnès Ganet
  • Transmission Prize to Lana Lenourry and Baptiste Arnaud and
  • Interdisciplinarity Prize to Angelo Alcaraz, Ophélie Fisher and Albert Bouffange
  • Student Commitment Prize to Shangaya Touraivane
  • International Mobility Prize to Théophile Seck and Ilyes Batatia
  • Special prize to Ludovic De Matteis

8.10pm: fanfare in the Emmy Noether hall

8.20pm: Cocktail followed by Kokarde

The cocktail reception takes place in the Hall Emmy Noether with entertainment provided by the student association, Disk Jock[ENS].
The evening continues with a Kokarde for the students.
