"À la croisée des récits" proposes a moment of restitution, reflection and exchange between different actors (sociologist, director, students from ENS Paris-Saclay and CentraleSupélec and actors) based on artistic workshops conducted with teenage girls and a short field study conducted by students from ENS Paris-Saclay and CentraleSupélec with the staff of a closed educational centre for teenage girls.
Closing of the PIC "Mauvaises filles !"
"À la croisée des récits" closes the collective interdisciplinary project (PIC) "MAUVAISES FILLES!" led by sociologist Natacha Chetcuti-Osorovitz and director Sandrine Lanno at the Scène de Recherche de l'ENS Paris-Saclay as part of a research-creation residency by L’Indicible Compagnie.
During this last year of residency, three students conducted a field survey among the supervisory teams, allowing for an analysis of the relationships between the minors placed in a closed educational centre and the staff working there. It is within this framework that a socio-historical approach to disciplinary institutions in the 1950s and today was developed.
This work will be one of the sources of inspiration for the creation BAD GIRLS! which will be presented in February 2023 at the Scène de Recherche.
